WR8Tech is led by Nigel Wraight, a Melbourne-born building services specialist whose experience spans more than two decades across commercial buildings, hospitals, shopping centres, educational facilities and critical infrastructure throughout Victoria.
Beginning his career as an electrical apprentice in Melbourne, Nigel progressed through the building services industry as an electrician, Building Management Systems (BMS) technician, commissioning specialist, project manager, technical sales professional and business owner. This broad background provides a practical understanding of how building systems are designed, installed, commissioned, maintained and ultimately upgraded throughout their lifecycle.
Over the years, Nigel has worked in hundreds of Melbourne and Victorian buildings, gaining experience across multiple generations of building technologies and control platforms. This experience extends from legacy proprietary systems and early building automation networks through to modern BACnet, Modbus and Niagara-based Building Management Systems.
